Expertise and Experience
Supervised wastewater
characterization, pollution abatement through water reduction and reuse,
concept development and design and sampling for regulatory compliance.
Wastewater projects have included the study and design of pretreatment
systems to manage industrial effluents from manufacturing operations
including metal finishing and organic solvent recovery. Assisted with
design of both batch and continuous flow processes, treating flows of 5
to 900 gpm.
Project coordinator for the design of wastewater
pretreatment systems. Projects involved sampling, wastewater
characterization, treatment options evaluations, design, and
construction.
Obtained storm water discharge permits in accordance
with Clean Water Act requirements. Developed Spill Control and
Counter-measures Plans (SPCC) and best management practices/plans for a
number of facilities in accordance with the requirements of Section 112.
Provided technical assistance to resolve alleged USEPA
compliance issues regarding categorical pretreatment discharge
requirements.
Provided technical assistance to resolve alleged
compliance issue regarding municipal sludge land application (Section
513 Compliance).
